mBank: downloading the history as CSV

How to download your mBank account history as a CSV file for importing payments into Sport Match: the period, incoming only, and no balance after each transaction.

Can Sport Match read this file?

Importing from mBank is coming soon. Sport Match can’t read this bank’s files yet — today it reads ING Bank Śląski’s. Until then, record payments by hand: Record payment.

mBank online banking (personal and business accounts)

Small businesses and associations with an mBank account use the same online banking as individual customers.

  1. Sign in to mBank online banking on a computer and open Finances → History (Finanse → Historia).

  2. Choose List of operations (Lista operacji) and open the filters.

  3. Set the period: the from–to dates you want to settle.

  4. In the Type (Rodzaj) filter choose credits (uznania) — only incoming payments remain.

  5. Choose to export the list, in CSV format.

The period
any date range; online banking shows the last 5 years.
Incoming only
yes — the Type → credits filter. The bank’s help describes exporting the list after applying the filters.
Balance after each transaction
the bank’s help doesn’t describe choosing the export’s columns, so the file may include the balance after each transaction. That’s fine: Sport Match doesn’t read balances and doesn’t keep the file.

Tip: Another way: Finances → History → Statement of operations (Zestawienie operacji) — there too you choose the account, type of operation, period and CSV format.

Download the file in online banking on a computer — the bank’s mobile app doesn’t export the history to CSV (according to the bank).

mBank CompanyNet (corporate banking)

Instructions coming soon. We haven’t yet been able to confirm from the bank’s official materials how the CSV export works here. We’ll fill in this page — until then, use the bank’s own help (links below).

  • The bank publishes file layouts for the account history (XML) and statements (MT940, CAMT), but we found no official guide to a CSV export.

Before you import the file

  • Load the file exactly as the bank produced it — don’t open and re-save it in Excel.
  • Sport Match reads only the incoming payments from the file (date, sender, title, amount, kind and the sender’s account). It skips balances and outgoing payments, and doesn’t keep the file — more in What happens to the file and the data.
