ING Bank Śląski: downloading the history as CSV

How to download your ING Bank Śląski account history as a CSV file for importing payments into Sport Match: the period, incoming only, and no balance after each transaction.

Can Sport Match read this file?

Tip: Yes. Sport Match reads the history CSV from Moje ING. Download it as described here and load it under Payments — see Importing, step by step.

Moje ING (personal and business accounts in Moje ING)

Sport Match reads the “Lista transakcji” (list of transactions) file that Moje ING saves as CSV. Load it unchanged — the bank saves it in the Windows-1250 encoding, and the app recognises that.

  1. Sign in to Moje ING on a computer and open History (Historia) — all of it, or the club account’s history.

  2. Choose Show filters (Pokaż filtry) and set the period: the from–to dates.

  3. In the transaction type filter choose incoming (wpływy) only.

  4. Choose the three dots above the search box, then Download history to a file (Pobierz historię do pliku) and the CSV format.

  5. If you see an option to hide the balance after each transaction, tick it, then download the file.

The period
set in the history filters before downloading; the bank states no limit on its length.
Incoming only
yes — according to ING the file holds only the transactions matching the filters (and lists the filters used).
Balance after each transaction
ING describes the balance after each transaction as optional, but explicitly only for PDF. If the CSV download doesn’t offer it, that’s fine: Sport Match doesn’t read balances and doesn’t keep the file.

Statements from the Statements tab (PDF, MT940) won’t do — the import needs the history as CSV.

ING Business

Note: today Sport Match reads the Moje ING file. A file from an ING Business template is laid out differently — support for it is coming.

  1. Open Tools → Import/Export → Export templates and choose Add template of the Operations history type.

  2. Drag only the fields needed into the template: dates, counterparty, account, title, amount. Don’t add the balance.

  3. Run the template for the club’s account and the period you are settling; download the file from Exported files.

The period
chosen when you run the template.
Incoming only
the bank’s help doesn’t say whether the file follows a filter on the type of operation. If the export lets you choose incoming payments (credits) only, do; if not, Sport Match skips outgoing payments anyway.
Balance after each transaction
yes — only the fields you add to the template go into the file.

Before you import the file

  • Load the file exactly as the bank produced it — don’t open and re-save it in Excel.
  • Sport Match reads only the incoming payments from the file (date, sender, title, amount, kind and the sender’s account). It skips balances and outgoing payments, and doesn’t keep the file — more in What happens to the file and the data.
